Thanks, Crunch. All of us should learn to be constructive instead of downtalking others. Line play, improved team speed overall and improved coaching are the keys to Ryle's success. They have a lot of great kids and players and I look for them to put it together this year. I think that everyone will notice lots of improvements with overall team strength and speed, so, to me, we find out a lot about Ryle's coaching staff this year with a team that has a chance to be pretty dang good. If they get creative with passing and play calling, they will be very good. If it's the same old same old getting outcoached on games that could go either way, then Ryle will struggle to beat Highlands and not get past the third round of the playoffs.

 

I expect that Ryle will have a very good season. Sure they have lost some to graduation, the really strong programs reload. I put Ryle in that category. Plus they have a stud at RB.:thumb:

Last year every one was saying that the 09 team was the fastest team they have had. So 10 they are going to be faster.

Typically you do speak positively but doesn't your above quote talk down towards the Ryle staff? Thats ok if you feel that way but shouldn't we be constructive?

 

There will be a lot of depth on this year's Ryle football team. There were a lot more than 4 contributing players lost off of Ryle's team but they will find a way to replace them...or they will get crushed by skfan36's team. :isurrender:

I hear its going to be a busy summer for the Hempel family as young Conner will be attending many camps (Stanford, WKU, Vandy and others) in search of more offers. That will be in addition to the summer college audition tour in baseball while playing for Walt plus a visit to Harvard. So if the Hempels seem a bit frazzled.....it will be with a smile on their face. Add in Conner's sister and her volleyball exploits and you've got a busy and talented clan.

I read today on Ryan Ernst blog that Conner Hempel was offered by Miami U (OH), he is now up to three offers with Western Kentucky and Bowling Green the others.
