tcjkbt
I don't know about the rest of the team, but I've been informed that Trinity's Josh Sewelll and Taylor Epley both have made the squad. Congratulations to them. Let's spank those Hoosiers!

tcjkbt
Scott County and Clark County have no representatives. That is a surprise.
gold sunrise
Scott County and Clark County have no representatives. That is a surprise. Clark Co only had one senior and he really is a tennis player. Next year is the huge class of seniors for Clark. Zollo, Stenzel, Daniels, Purvis, Cory Rogers. SportsGuy41017
Very surprised Polson did not make the squad. Along with Sewell, wasn't he runner-up for Mr Basketball?
Your Daddy
Very surprised Polson did not make the squad. Along with Sewell, wasn't he runner-up for Mr Basketball? Sewell is on there. Congrats to Vance Hall! I heard Epley shot the lights out the whole weekend, and his play earned him a spot on the squad!

The Observer
I was told Polson did not gave a very good try out. For those who say the team is decided before tryouts, you might need to reconsider those feelings.

I am a huge Polson fan but if he didn't have a good tryout the coaches need to be commended for taking the tryouts into consideration. At the same time.... I thought Sewell couldn't try out because of his hand. Was that false info or was he given a spot on the team without trying out?

Tryouts have to have a major impact on the selection but lets not assume these coaches had their head in the sand and didn't know other players. Tryouts are one factor. Again, 10 to 14 coaches were involved in the selection. It could be a bad tryout. It could be style of play. I do know this. The coaches made it very clear to every player that they are KY all-stars. All of these kids should hold their head high that they had the skills to be invited.

Walter
Assuming the following players showed up, I'd say KY's roster will look something like this: 5'11 Elisha Justice 6'0 Jared Polson 6'2 Aaron Watts 6'3 Vance Hall 6'4 Keisten Jones 6'4 Josh Sewell (if healthy) 6'5 Ricardo Johnson 6'6 Ashley Hatfield 6'7 Colt Barnhill 6'7 Donovan Gibbs 6'8 Elijah Pittman The 12th and final spot....:idunno: I could be way off. I will say that Justice (no brainer), R. Johnson, Jones, Watts, and Pittman will all for sure be on the team. I got 9 out of 11 correct...I'll take it. I really like the "surprise selections" of WIll Evans, Taylor Epley, and Tanner Peurach. Evans and Peurach provide two big bodies (6'7) down low that can bang defensively and are very fundamental offensively. Epley provides a 6'5 forward that can also play multiple positions. Some might not agree with me, but I'm actually somewhat excited about this roster. As a TEAM, I think they could end up doing better than some think. The Kentucky roster for the Kentucky/Indiana All-Star basketball serius has been announced following a weekend tryout session. Kentucky roster: Colt Barnhill, East Carter Taylor Epley, Trinity Will Evans, Lexington Christian Vance Hall, Franklin County Ashley Hatfield, Shelby Valley Thomas Jackson, Jeffersontown Ricardo Johnson, Holmes Keisten Jones, Ballard Elisha Justice, Shelby Valley Tanner Peurach, Lexington Catholic Elijah Pittman, Holmes Josh Sewell, Trinity Aaron Watts, McCreary Central
