What PGs besides Justice tried out? KY is going to need some ballhawk PGs.

Samsel is a legit point (Manual) tried out. Fared well and can handle the ball as well as any there.

Gibbs is bound to IUPUI and is from Iroquois. He's a wing player.

Height isn't everything.

Assuming the following players showed up, I'd say KY's roster will look something like this:

5'11 Elisha Justice

6'0 Jared Polson

6'2 Aaron Watts

6'3 Vance Hall

6'4 Keisten Jones

6'4 Josh Sewell (if healthy)

6'5 Ricardo Johnson

6'6 Ashley Hatfield

6'7 Colt Barnhill

6'7 Donovan Gibbs

6'8 Elijah Pittman

The 12th and final spot....:idunno:

I could be way off. I will say that Justice (no brainer), R. Johnson, Jones, Watts, and Pittman will all for sure be on the team.

Way to go out on a limb with those 5...I know. :isurrender:

Height was everything last year, especially from the guard play defensively. Couldn't defend the wing and perimeter and wass shown as 6-4 Colt Ryan went a lil nuts last year.

KY All Stars should have plenty of defense on the wings this year with guys like Gibbs (6'7), R. Johnson (6'5), Jones (6'4), Sewell (6'4), and Vance Hall (6'3)...or even Elijah Pittman at 6'8.

I really like Orlando Rutledge too. Wouldn't mind seeing him on the team.

My guess is you will see some true post players to bang inside.

Logic says that with Indiana's size you can't have a bunch of wing players.

True....Would it be a surprise if the bottom of the KY roster looked like this:

6'7 Colt Barnhill

6'7 Tanner Peurach

6'7 Donovan Gibbs

6'8 Elijah Pittman

6'9 Matt St. John

I don't know many of the players like you do. I've only heard of Barnhill and Pittman to be honest with you.

What happened last year?

Sorry...looks like I quoted wrong post. Last year, there were schools still in session when the practices started, and graduations that were occurring at the same time as the games due to snow days that had to be made up.
