Could this still happen, either as a walk-on or by scholarship? Would be a huge coo for Cal if he could get him. He would be an absolute huge crowd favorite from the get go. Is he locked in with UL or would he change and go to UK if offered? Does anyone know how he feels about UK? Has Cal ever watched him play? Thanks.

He is a great player. I don't think he would play at UK. I would love to see him walk on.

Justice is a wonderful high-school player. I just don't know if he's quite tall enough or quite fast enough to get much playing time at UK.

Can you say Brandon Stockton? That Tubby Smith team never had near the talent this Ky. team has and will continue to have with coach Cal at the helm. I guess it all comes down to whether Elisha wants to play or not and how strongly he feels that he can play at that level. I don't know how much playing time he will get @ Louisville but you never know. He truly did have a great career and deserves all the honors that have and will come to him yet.

First of all I want to say that this kid can flat out shoot. He kind of reminds me a little of Devin Downey at South Carolina. With that said, I don't think he's UK material or would he be happy there. With the level of talent that John Calipari is bringing to UK (John Wall) I don't believe you will see UK in the mix, just as they have backed off of Euton and Zollo. I do believe that Justice would be a great player at Morehead, Eastern or Murray and take a look at what Murray accomplished in the NCAA tourny this week. Best of luck to the young man.

Not talking about a starter, just someone to hit a three or free throw now and then. So all UK fans want now are one and done players and no more Hood's or Sparks,etc.:confused:, how quickly things change:cry:

Off-topic, but I thought the Shelby Valley/West Jessamine game with Justice and Polson was one of the more enjoyable games I witnessed this week.

He is a UK fan. Initially I think UK would have been his choice. He has developed a very good relationship with Pitino and chose Louisville in part because he would like to coach in the future. My only concern is whether Pitino will be there in the future...

Of course this is pure conjecture, but I think Pitino is @ UL for at least 2 more seasons. The arena opens next season, and I hear we have a stellar recruiting class the next. I would hypothesize that 2 years for a kid interested in coaching would be a good foundation. Ideally 4, but I could see what he's thinking.

 

Of course, there's always the possibility that Pitino has absolutely no desire to leave Louisville,and then the situation Justice envisions plays out as well.

Anyone have his regular season stats? I noticed in the program the final regular season stats leaders and he was not in the top 10. Of course, your school as to turn those in, but I am assuming as good as they were, they would have turned them in.

 

Dont know how it will go in Louisville, but he had a great Sweet 16 tournament.

If Cal keeps recruiting like he has in recent years, there'll be no shortage of crowd favorites in Rupp.

Why do we have these threads start in the first place? All they seem to do is diminish what the kid's done. Let's let him enjoy his team's accomplishment, he's already made a college choice. He can't play at that level, and that's not a knock on the kid. Good grief, terrific player.

You're assuming he will play at all even with coach Pitino there. I agree with Spindoc, let it go.
