LRCW Posted March 14, 2010 Posted March 14, 2010 Wow. What a brutal road for the Cats. Texas as a possible 2nd round matchup, and playing them in New Orleans. :scared::scared:
Original Rookie Posted March 14, 2010 Posted March 14, 2010 Kansas was shafted the most. Kentucky next.
LRCW Posted March 14, 2010 Author Posted March 14, 2010 Texas should have the fan advantage playing in New Orleans.
Wireman Posted March 14, 2010 Posted March 14, 2010 Kansas and Kentucky were both hosed...no reward at all for good seasons.
Original Rookie Posted March 14, 2010 Posted March 14, 2010 Texas should have the fan advantage playing in New Orleans. You think Texas will have more fans than UK? I wouldn't be surprised to see Texas lose to Wake.
DragonFire Posted March 14, 2010 Posted March 14, 2010 The pod is what upsets me. The trip to New Orleans is about 33% longer for UK than to Milwaukee, and they were slotted right next to Texas, who would be right there. The only reasoning I can figure is that they think about UK having a following in the south versus Wisconsin? Maybe, but I mean jeez. Ohio State, Kansas State, Villanova, all closer to home than UK.
HammerTime Posted March 14, 2010 Posted March 14, 2010 I think KU got hosed worse than anyone for sure.
The Scribe Posted March 14, 2010 Posted March 14, 2010 I dont think anyone was hosed. There are no easy roads in the NCAA Tournament. However, Kansas and Kentucky have a curvier road
John Anthony Posted March 14, 2010 Posted March 14, 2010 Kansas has a much more favorable 2nd round match up... there tested in the sweet 16 then elite 8, that's how it supposed to be.
LRCW Posted March 14, 2010 Author Posted March 14, 2010 You think Texas will have more fans than UK? I wouldn't be surprised to see Texas lose to Wake. They should if their fans travel at all.
The Scribe Posted March 14, 2010 Posted March 14, 2010 UTEP should send Demarcus Cousins a huge thank you note and some flowers.
Blue Magic Posted March 14, 2010 Posted March 14, 2010 Kansas has a much more favorable 2nd round match up... there tested in the sweet 16 then elite 8, that's how it supposed to be. :thumb:
Original Rookie Posted March 14, 2010 Posted March 14, 2010 They should if their fans travel at all. This is UK we are talking about... I can't remember seeing a neutral site where we didn't have the most.
PAPA PIGSKIN Posted March 14, 2010 Posted March 14, 2010 Do not be surprised if Wake beats Texas. Then gives us problems too.
SouthernSportsFan Posted March 14, 2010 Posted March 14, 2010 I certainly hope we can have a very easy first round game so we are fresh for the second game.
