They've pretty well been pegged for Milwaukee, which is a Friday/Sunday pod. None of the pods are all that near to UK, but Milwaukee looks closest. Another remotely in the running might be Oklahoma City, also Friday/Sunday.

 

I thought I've been hearing UK to Syracuse Region.

Not if they play a Thursday game and have to travel Tuesday or Wednesday. Three straight games and a game like that to end it will take a toll especially if they have to play a team like Oklahoma State on Saturday that would be UK’s 5th game in 8 days...

Point being, that's one call. There were plenty of other calls that if they went one way or another, this would be a different game. You cannot simply point out one thing and act like without it, said team would have won.

I thought the officiating was great today. They let them play. I'd much rather watch a game like that.

You have. There was some talk about UK going to the St. Louis Regional if Kansas lost, but with the Jayhawks winning, I can't imagine Kentucky anywhere but the Carrier Dome Syracuse.

 

As for the opening round, Kansas and Kansas State will be playing in Oklahoma City. Kentucky has been projected to go to Milwaukee for several weeks now and outside of New Orleans, there really isn't another "nearby" option.

I kind of feel bad for Rick Stansbury,He coached a great game.I hope MSU gets in.They could be a scary team in the tournament.:thumb:

If he's right, he's right. He didnt say it cost Miss State the game. He pointed out the lane violation. How dare anyone say anything bad about UK

They let Varnardo play a little too much (as they have for 4 years), but other than that it wasn't horrible.

Wow!!!! That's all I can say right now. This team just continues to amaze me. I feel bad for Coach Stansbury. He is a class act, and I hope the Bulldogs get in. I really feel for them right now.

 

Stansbury is one of my favorite coaches. When another change is made at UK, I would like to see Stansbury given consideration.
