Had they played anyone other than UK in the title game, they win by double digits. If the selection committee does their job well, State is in.

 

 

 

If they had played anyone other than KY today they would not have played with half the heart & intensity and probably lost by double digits.

Just throwing this out there. Wall did commit a lane violation. HOWEVER, he was not the only player to do so. An MSU player was also guilty of this on that very same play. Gottlieb neglected to point that out, and that is why his comments bother me.

 

If it was simultaneous it would have gone to the AP.

Why are we getting upset that Doug Gottleib pointed out a missed call? Are we that sensitive?

I believe you are wrong. State knew they HAD to win this game, REGARDLESS of who they played today.

The most overshadowed performance of the entire SEC tournament was the play of Eric Bledsoe.

Miss St played very inspired basketball. UK just found a way to win a game that technically, in the grand scheme, didn't mean NEARLY as much as a W would have meant to Miss St. Feel bad for Stansbury, but I think that the Bulldogs earned a spot in the big dance.

 

HUGE win, too exciting for my heart to take. My daughter was so mad and kept saying the last few minutes, ... 'they've lost it'. I kept telling her not to give up. We were jumping up and down in the living room. My 13 month old grandson even got excited and started yelling and throwing his arms up in the air imitating us. Just awesome!!!

I agree. He is playing very, very well. I wish he would slow down at times, but he helped us big time today, and was a catalyst yesterday.

I believe Kentucky did, after a tie-up that took it MSU's way in the last couple of minutes.
