March 3, 201016 yr At what age is it acceptable to rock a mustache ? I'm not talking about a little hair above the lip, I'm talking full blown mustache. All of my friends dad's have mustaches and they look awesome but I can't imagine me or any of my buddies having one. I shaved for work a few days ago and decided to let the stache stay. I looked at myself in the mirror for a moment, realized how dumb I looked and got the razor back out. Also, when is it acceptable to tuck in your shirt, regardless of style, everyday ? My dad and many men of his age tuck in their shirts (short sleeve, long sleeve, sweaters and hoodies ) every morning when they get dressed. If you see me with my shirt tucked in I'm likely heading to a funeral or a wedding.
March 3, 201016 yr I've been wondering this for years. I'd say unless you are in fact Richie Farmer, it is unacceptable to grow one seriously untill you are 30 and have a mortgage and/or children.

March 3, 201016 yr I say rock it anytime you feel like it. I'm not a fan but grew one in college one time for fun. Looking at old pics it is funny. I'm a goatee (sp) kind of guy myself. Stache= bow chicka bow wow!
March 3, 201016 yr I've always wondered the same thing. More than the mustache thing I've always wondered why I think I look so ridiculous with a tucked in shirt but every single guy my dad's age tucks their shirt in and no one even realizes it.
March 3, 201016 yr Tucking in T-shirts is a no no at any age IMO. Unless you are ripped like the Jersey boys let your t's hang out. Another thing that gets me is when guys my age (late 30's) tuck in dress shirts but don't wear a belt. You go to the extent of wearing a nice shirt but can't put a nice belt on? Staches to me just make young guys look too old and have never been a fan. I hate seeing HS aged kids sporting them. There used to be a big rival of ours in Jr high that had a lot of kids on their basketball team with full staches and although intimidating, they looked ridiculous.

Tuck in your shirt if you're wearing a button up shirt that dressy or you're going somewhere that's nice. Casual button ups are fine untucked as long as you're not applying for a job, going to a funeral or wedding, or some place like that. NEVER tuck in a sweater or a hoodie! Polos can go either way, I'd say.
March 3, 201016 yr I wore one in my late 20's- early 30's until someone pointed out I looked like a 1970's porn star. I shaved immediately. I did go through the goatee phase with a shaved head. I liked it but I re-married and she likes the short hair with the messed up/gel look.......so guess what I'm sporting now? Suffice to say, I'll never have a mustache again.
