Well it was either that or pass out ice skates at halftime. Actually I almost suggested to Dale to call the game because of dangerous ice conditions.:lol: But before I made the final lap the Birds were already on the field warming up.

Thank God for full head gear and the safety glasses. Only a handful of people knew it was me out there until now. rockmom, We will be even younger next year than we were in 2009 which was actually a Senior dominated squad with a couple Juniors, sophomores and one exceptional freshman sprinkled in.

 

The majority of both sides of the ball will be Juniors getting their first significant varsity playing time. Sure we played two sophomores and a junior part time on the OL and have Bishop and Nix returning, but who's the QB? At the end of the season, we had a true Freshman running second string. With Kragthorpe gone, QB will be a challenge once again next year. On Defense, they will be replacing their entire DLine and key back ups as well. They have 3-4 kids that started as Juniors and Sophomores returning at end, linebacker and one safety. outside of that very few underclassmen played significant minutes until the end of games or on JV or Freshman games and the Senior class is very small as well.

 

The Rocks are going to have to grow up quickly to handle another early demanding schedule. As for 2011/2012, they should be unstoppable.

I can understand what your saying about the qb situation but we have all heard on here many times over that the next three years for T football will be bigger, better, faster, yada, yada, yada... So which is it:confused:

I concur we have heard for months that Trinity would own State for the next three years. On another note what will the removal of Terry Bean as defensive coordiantor mean for T's defense. They looked pretty stout to me the past few years.

I think that they are losing more than they ever could imagine in Coach Bean, and I think that if Beatty is thinking that he can remove ANYONE and expect good or great results when you have to install a new system is just silly. It takes time for any new system to take effect.

Next year, as of now, I am not sure yet. I know that we'll be much more athletic overall, the new defensive scheme will be very effective, don't let anyone on here fool you, we'll be flying to the ball, we'll attack, and we'll defend the entire field at a much more efficient level. I look for us to be in the hunt at the end, a couple of breaks and we win it next year, the future is very bright in St. Matthews/

This will be good going to Trinity if that happens. We will get to see how the Rich Kids live. Maybe that Tony Danza guy will show us around town if we let him on the bus. :thumb:20n10

 

It will be great to see those two go at it....if it is at Trinity...you can come to my house and see how we live...bologna and cheese...chips...tap water....got to save for tuition...he he.

C'mon, quit sandbaggin on here my friend. No way in Gods green earth in Louisville will Trinity have a QB shortage or lack of talent. I would bet that on any given yr Trinity has 4 to 5 QBs in the waiting let alone the starter. By that I mean probably 2 or 3 of those QB's could start on probably every other team in the State except of course for Highlands and your cross town neimises (sp). :ohbrother: 20n10
