January 29, 201016 yr That isn't personal. You blasted Cousins on hearsay, i'm just wondering why it is different with this? Go start a thread on me if your out to get me over my opinions. I am trying to talk in a Maualuga thread thanks.
January 29, 201016 yr Take the personal attacks to PMs. If anyone else violates rule #2 in this thread we are going to suspend you. Now let's get back to Rey Rey... Rey Rey has a rep for being a drunk and a party animal. He ran from the police in NKY one night but skated on charges and I am told the knock on him coming out of college was that he was a bad boy and it had nothing to do with his playing ability. I think Rey may end up being another example of what I have talked about before and that is for every incident you hear about there are three more you never hear about... Either way, I think Rey is a great player and I hope he learns his lesson.
January 29, 201016 yr I wonder if this will lead to a suspension by the NFL and if so, how long? According to the article I don't think so: Maualuga's arrest puts him up for possible discipline under the NFL's personal conduct policy. Since it is an an alcohol-related offense, he also could be entered into Stage 1 of the league's substance abuse program. Entry in that program is confidential. It is only when a player is in Stage 2 or 3 of the program, where he could be suspended for drug- or alcohol-related offenses that it is publicized.

Hmmmm...............let's see Rey......................... Cab Ride-$40.00 6 Captains & Coke-$25.00 (claim from arresting officer) By my math, you could have saved $49,935.00 and had much more fun. Choices, Decisions, Consequences, when will they learn?
January 29, 201016 yr Hit two parked cars and wiped out a parking meter. .157 BA. And he pleads not guilty. Interesting. Oh not to mention two teenage girls along for the ride. Yikes!
January 29, 201016 yr If he was going out to the bars almost every night then he will have to change his lifestyle. If not, he will have more trouble at some point. Let's hope he makes changes. Or he could go out every night & just pay to take a cab.
January 29, 201016 yr Rey Rey definetly enjoys having a good time and drinking. He was walking around with Shane Graham wasted at the UK-Miami football game at PBS. Both were out in the parking lot before the game tailgating with fans and one fan even bought Rey a UK t-shirt to rock during the game....wore it all day. Shane had to tell him several times to hide his beer when taking pictures with fans. Good thing he was there with the rook. Did you say "hook"?

I'm not willing to call Rey a drunk, nor am I willing to implicate criminal charges against him, but I agree with your second paragraph. It just bothers me that these guys don't take cabs. They've got all kinds of $$ and anywhere in / around Covington is less than $25. But then again, one of the biggest reasons that people don't drink & drive is because of the consequences. Very rarely do people consider death, but they'll consider getting pulled over...and ultimately losing their jobs. When you don't lose your job & get a (relatively) small fine, the consequences are seemingly less.

I agree, I said that a couple of years ago during another Bengals arrest. Take a cab, or call Ocho since he says he only drinks cran and red bull.
January 30, 201016 yr I heard today that Rey had an alcohol related offense while at USC so this is not his first incident. He supposedly received treatment at the time and said he learned his lesson. I believe a refresher course is on its way.

If that's the case then the fella REALLY can't handle his alcohol. While I understand that's alot for most, he's about a 250 or so lb man and by many account seems to drink about as often as he speaks soooooo yea. Me personally Id say he had a few more than 6 UNLESS that was within a 2 or 3 hour time frame, or just doesn't count what he had before he actualy went out. I could see that being the case.

I take cabs and I don't even make like 5% of what he does and I'm sure as hell not charging it lol. Just seems like these guys are not getting the message. I'm btw how long it's gonna be til someone get's killed and they really start to pay attention.
January 30, 201016 yr Those must have been some strong Captains and Coke, Captains is pretty light stuff and also my drink of choice while at PBS.
