SWEET

All turf should be green, but then again all playing surfaces should be grass!

I hope the NCAA doesn't make teams change this. That is awesome.

My son attends Lindsey Wilson College, and he heard on campus last year that Boise State gave LWC a check for not installing a Blue Turf Field, which they had planned to do. The Lindsey Wilson Blue Raiders will start their football program this fall for the first time.

The article said that their colors are red and white.

Wonder what a white field would look like?

Dirty after about a season.

Somewhat difficult to make out the yardage markers.

I heard otherwise, that, in fact, LWC will have blue turf for its inaugural season.

Nice red turf. Looks good.

They are getting a great D-line coach by the name of Bert Bathiani.

The dentist son? Wasn't he a kicker in high school or was that his brother?

Turf is already installed. They went with green, but going to install a Blue rubberize track around it. My son tells me that Boise offered LWC some cash to not install Blue, and they jumped on it.

Red turf is UGLY

I bet at some point there will be advertisements displayed on turf fields.
