January 26, 201016 yr Author Old Rambler is doing better. They have him steroids to help his muscles regain some strength and he is responding well to physical therapy. He is upset though that the steroids he is on will disqualify him from consideration to the baseball hall of fame. lol! He will still remain in the hospital for a little while longer. He appreciates all your prayers, cards, calls, etc. You guys are his second family. On behalf of the Rambler family we also thank you.

January 27, 201016 yr I spoke with Old Rambler this evening. He sounded good considering what he has been through. As Red Rambler has already stated, though, he is upset about the steroid/HOF problem. Hopefully, the voting panel will show mercy on him.
