January 10, 201016 yr Just an obvservation, did anyone else notice Shayne Graham was not wearing sleeves? Who is he kidding? Plus, the kicker should be the warmest guy on the field.
January 10, 201016 yr They have difficulty covering backs or TEs on pass routes. Watch Kellers TD reception. Who is 5 yards behind him all the way down the field? 57. That is how it appears on TV but we do not know if he actually had in coverage. What makes me say this is because he is the middle lb. That would be an odd D for him to cover the TE man2man. It would usually be an OLB. Maualuga if not hurt would have been the coverage lb. So that is a spot where his injury really came back to hurt the Bengals.

January 10, 201016 yr Graham should return his salary. Has a franchise player ever been cut after that season? Probably not because Kickers come and go and are constantly being cut unlike other positions that other teams decided to franchise like d-linemen, safeties, WRs, etc.
January 10, 201016 yr I watched ESPn after the game with Trent Dilfer and I forget who the other person was. He stated how the Jets OC called the perfect game with play action and miss direction plays in running situations. Then he stated how terrible the Bengals OC was. They ran very little play action and miss direction and how very little thought went into the play calling. All the passing game was on straight drop backs and all on Palmer. Bartowski did nothing to help Palmer and threw nothing to Foshi. The Jets knew where Palmer was going to be every play.
January 10, 201016 yr Maybe Graham thought that they were going to Bill Goodmans "GUN & Knife Show?" Call a buddy bring a friend!! I just think the cold affected him and if he's comes out without sleeves to intimidate someone, then he's not only a bad kicker, he's also an idiot.
January 10, 201016 yr If Bradkowski isn't fired by next season, Mike Brown deserves to be deemed mentally ill. And that's stating it very nicely.
January 10, 201016 yr I think they need a new HC, if they want to win a Superbowl! Here is my thinking off the top of my head. Can anyone name one HC in the history of the league that has been to a Superbowl, that did not do it in their first five years with that team? Jeff Fisher was in his 6th season with the Titans.

I think their LB group is fairly solid and both Rivers and Maualuga have a chance to become special players. Will they? Who knows, but the potential is there.
January 10, 201016 yr Jeff Fisher was in his 6th season with the Titans. Gotcha!:thumb: I guess technically you are right. He took over in the middle of the 1994 season (SB that season 1995) Then he went to the Superbowl in 2000(1999 Season). I just found that Madden and Reeves also did it. But I would never confuse Lewis with any of these 3.

Tom Landry Weeb Eubank of the Jets Hank Stram of the Chiefs Chuck Noll of the Steelers was in his 6th season before their first Super Bowl Bud Grant of the Vikings John Madden - 8th season Dan Reeves - 6th season Andy Reid - 6th season
January 10, 201016 yr Graham should return his salary. Has a franchise player ever been cut after that season? By definition, a franchise player is only under contract for that season, which makes it impossible to "cut" them after the season. So to answer your question, no.
