January 7, 201016 yr I've been watching out my window in Independence since 930, because of work, and it has only slowed down once for about 30 minutes all morning.

I do not want a foot of snow then 10 degree temps for three days and the stuff freezes rock solid. 4.5 inches now here.

January 7, 201016 yr Just got off the phone with my cousin's husband up in Hamilton. He says, it's still coming down. Dad was supposed to return home Sunday, we're pushing that back a week now. BTW - They've forecast snow for Gainsville tomorrow. These people can't drive in the rain. :scared:
January 7, 201016 yr So going outside with a co worker to do donuts in the parking lot was apparently a big hit in the third floor of our building. We were greeted by managers when we came in that weren't as pleased.

January 7, 201016 yr My girlfriend told me that place was a ghost town. Yea I'm kinda ticked they let everyone for the department we support leave and now were stuck taking their work load. Not sure why they were given the green light and we were told to tough it out.
