The one sophomore to make any of the 3 teams was Josh Harris of Mason County at Linebacker.

These players definitely deserved some sort of mention on this team and if you truly watched these kids play in every game this year or talked to coaches who played against them you would probably agree.

 

Hunter Schlosser- OL- 1st team AP All State

Drake Bruns-CB- bonecrushing DB who covered the best receivers they faced.

Cam Dierig- DL -worked Matt James (Cincy St. X Div 1 offensive lineman who was almost a foot taller and 100lbs heavier)

 

Outside of these omissions I think the list is pretty good. Well, that is until they made Brandon Roller 2nd team. (belly laugh)

I don't put much into the AP. Courier Journal is better along with BGP. Ben Preston got snubbed in AP but 1st team by coaches.

Roller is one of the best LBers Ive seen in high school even though it was only a couple of games.

Do coaches send in information? How does this work? I think the CJ All State was much more accurate than the AP's but that is JMHO

I agree with you on the CJ selection, much more accurate IMO.

According to CJ Kentucky's top kicker made 75% of PATs (36/48) and less than 50% of field goal attempts 5/11). Seriously?

What does anyone think of having an allstate team for each of the 6 divisions? example: 1A, 2A etc. All coaches should be familiar with these teams and players in their own division.
