I've had the opportunity to meet and talk with Henry 4-5 times over the past couple years, and for all the off-field issues he had, he was always nothing but respectful and willing to have a conversation with my friends and I. This just sucks on so many levels right now for me. Unbelievable how a guy finally decides to try and get his life in order, a la Sean Taylor, and when they finally start making progress, God takes them. Really makes me wonder some times.

 

RIP Slim. Thank you for always taking the time to share a few words with my friends and I. You will be missed. :cry:

R.I.P. I hate the Bengals, but for some reason I always like Chris Henry. Sad turn of events.

I also played some pick-up basketball with him at NKU. Really was a nice guy.

We can only speculate, but one of my thoughts was that maybe he tried to go from the bed of the truck into the cab while the truck was moving, and he fell. This is just an awful ending to such a promising young life.

 

That's the way I pictured it. Either that or she started weaving and he fell out. Either way, very sad.

Pure speculation of course, but we can't rule out the possibility that he was pushed. Trying to climb into the cab from the bed, and she felt threatened and shoved him, and he fell....

This is just very sad news, I really don't even know what to say about this. My prayers are with you Chris Henry, and family. You always will be a Bengal, and will be greatly missed.
