I don't think there are two different designs. Order forms are out and you see one. Fittings Thursday with downpayment :ohbrother:

 

Ok I will be the "bad" or "sour" or whatever for asking. I now they are designed by the "seniors" and they can put whatever they want and if someone doesn't like it then wait till you are a Senior and Win and design your own or just don't buy one. But the latter doesn't seem fair for the underclassmen. You know to wear a "senior" ring. Yes they went 54-1 as HHS players, but really not all did. Some Seniors didn't.

 

I think either have two designs or one common team design. Don't discriminate against the others. You know it can be done because it done every time a class ring is designed. They are all different. Just my 2 cents.

WOW! Ill be the first to say I dont have a problem at all with the 54-1 ring either way. And this comes from an underclassman parent. I just didnt know whether their were two rings designs. One being a Sr ring because I saw the 54-1 and then another for the rest of the team without the record. I sorta like the idea of the Srs designing and having say on what goes on the ring design. I dont really care one way or another though, this is a GOOD PROBLEM to have. :thumb: 20n10

My underclassman didn't blink an eye at it. He thinks they're pretty impressive.

Those are pretty sweet looking rings. I know every year some will question whether the design is fitting or not. I guess it is up to the Seniors. I know two years ago, my son and myself and others were not so thrilled with the design but lived with it. They got to design their own last year.

 

Also, you won't find too many parents/players complaining because they don't want to upend the apple cart. Oh well, enjoy and I say to my brother, better you than me this year with the cost of those monsters. I guess it will never get cheaper. Could be worse though, no rings at all.

The price of gold is at an all time high it seems. The mark up on gold right now is very high.

 

The price of a state title is at an all time high also. The players have been paying for those rings since the 4th grade . They have sacraficed , broken bones , blown out knees , injured elbows , and the sweat of two a days in August. Most high school football players are thrilled to get one ring , this group of seniors have enough rings to open a jewelry store.

 

Don't get me wrong , I'm not bragging , I'm just so proud of the players and coaches of this team. This is not just about football , this is a tribute to the parents , who raised these young men , to represent Highlands and Ft. Thomas in a very positive way.

 

In closing I would like to thank the players for the accomplishments that they have achieved , and I thank the coaches for all their time and effort, and finally for all the thrills on those Friday nights. :clap:

Sharp looking ring.

I was somewhat surprised by the price, and yes, in some ways it probably is frivolous, but you never know if they will ever see another one....I hope it keeps someone employed and I'm glad to help.....having said that, I'm sure I could find more reasonable things to spend that money on. I think this might be one of those things, as a parent, you "do for your kids" and enjoy it.
