I'm starting it early. As a huge Chargers fan, I'm really looking forward to this game, likely for the #2 playoff seed. I think the Bengals will cause us some problems. San Diego is really struggling defending the run right now, down to probably the 3rd string defensive line. Benson & Co. might just flat run all over us. We also have a weakness at right offensive tackle, and Rivers is having to step up too much in the pocket. He makes his money with the downfield throws, and I think the tall SD wideouts can burn the Bengal DB's, but he's got to have the time to get it there.

I think with homefield and some good Mike Scifres punting, Cincinatti will have too much to overcome. I'm going to take the Chargers 28-20.

Chargers are playing the best football in the NFL right now IMO. Chargers should win this one.

Would like to see the Bengals come out with something to prove. Especially number 9 !

IF that happens, I like the Bengals chances.

Thats a big IF?

West Coast game with a struggling passing game.. no comment.

This is a big game, winner is in the drivers seat for the 2 seed and first round bye. The Bengals don't traditionally play well on the left coast. But, it seems SD has trouble stopping the run. If Cincy can come out and get Ced going they'll have a chance. Joeseph and Hall have to cover those big WR's one on one to so they can pressure Rivers.

The big question for me is if Crocker plays, he's a difference maker. I sure would like to have him and Peko back.

I think Cincy will shut down the WR's. I think Gates can really hurt them though. The Bengals at some point need to prove they can score. They've been over 20 once in the last 6 games and that was a 23 point explosion against the terrible Lions.

I'm not worried about SD's wideouts, but I think Gates will give us problems.

I'll have to give it a few more days before I can make a prediction. Let's see if Peko / Crocker will be playing, and who is (or isn't) out for SD.

Bengals need this game, but I don't see it happening.

Chargers are playing the best in the NFL right now.

SD 31

Bengals 20

Obviously either team is good enough to win. I think SD will win though. They are playing really good ball right now. They are so tough to defend because it seems like every guy that catches the ball downfield is 6'4 or bigger. Rivers is as good as anybody down the field.

I agree that Cincy has a chance to run the ball. I think SD is down to #3 nose guard. The reason I really though Cincy would struggle today is that Minn can stop the run. When that happens I don't like Cincy's chances. SD should struggle with it giving Cincy a chance. In the end I think SD scores last though.

Well obviously the Chargers are playing great, and the Bengals not so much. I think the Chargers are due to lose one this week, and I think the Bengals come out much better after just getting physically beat this week. At least I hope they come out much better.

WHO DEY!

Is there anyone on here who attended the 1982 AFC championship game where the Cincinatti folks opened the gates to the river and froze the Chargers out of Riverfront? One of the darker days of my childhood.

What is the Bagels record on the left coast? It would be a huge upset for them to win there next weekend as poorly as our offense performs. We would need at least a +3 in TOs to have a chance.

The Bengals are predictable and pathetic on offense. I don't think this makes for a good combination.. Chargers by at least 2tds....

I'd love to see the Bengals pull it out, but unfortunately I just don't see it happening.

Looks like two in a row for the Bengals...But nothing surprises me about this Bengals team...Who Dey...
