Still prayers and love to this young man and his family.

Updating everyone on Ethan Strode's condition...I talked to his father today. Ethan's condition has not changed much in the past few days, this is better news than the other. The hospital was going to put a Trech in today but was understaffed. They decide it would be in his best interest to do this in the morning. Greg said that Janie and himself were hanging in there. He knew that they were in for a long ride with this one. Everyday brings more hope for Ethan to recover. They did remove the breathing tube from Ethan's nose to his mouth to reduce the risk of infection in his sinus. Please everyone keep the prayers coming, this is all we can do for him at the moment...

 

I want to give a personal thanks to everyone that has responded and given to his fund, this is greatly appreciated and very helpful to his family. I think the football community in this great state is so very strong. Once again, Thank You!!!

I can't say how good that makes us feel to read this. I think our whole community is on stand still at the moment. Thanks again for your thoughts and prayers. I will talk to Ethan's father in the morning and update by lunch...God Bless!

We here at Lone Oak will pray for this young man and for God to put his healing hands on him. This could very easily have been one of our own. I have a grandson this age and I cannot begin to imagine what his parents are going through. I will pray for them and may God comfort them at this time. Hope everything works out for this young man.
