I believe LO will win this one one too. I know Franklin Simpson is a very good team also. It can go either way, but I'm pulling for the Purple Flash on this one. I know how bad they want to make it back to state, as time is running out due to the consolidation of the high schools. Hope to see a good game

Although my blood runs purple and I am on opposing team fan base, I want to congratulate AC on their win tonite and go get the State Championship rings and the trophy. Make sure you take your own officials and clock operators to have a fair chance. Think Boyle has their own. You are going up against a team that isn't supposed to lose in a championship game especially when you are a smaller school, no matter what. You will have your hands full, but YOU CAN DO IT. WIN STATE

We all know what happened at the Green Co game and who really won that game. No need to relive it. Just watch the last two minutes of game. It will be a hard fought game between two very good teams.:ylsuper:

Lone Oak is coming together and getting better every week. If they keep the determination and fight in them I know they have, they should win this game by two touchdowns. Charlesw88. I am not putting your team down in any way. The 4A game was the best of them all. Two very good teams going all the way to try to win the state championship. Not trying to down your team in any way at all. There were just a lot of doubts and questions among everybody including officials and certain people that were right up there in front of the plays in the double overtime. Congratulations to Boyle. Lone Oak hopefully will be back and I am sure Boyle will be too.

There is no river to cry. Film and pictures do not lie. It was a heck of a good game between two very good teams. There is no denying that. We just know and have the data to prove it. :thumb:

About the double overtime, Boyle County never made it across the goal line to tie the score. The two officials that went over to check the plays turned around and walked away. That didn`t call it because they knew the touchdown wasn`t made. As for the snap, the clock had already ran out before he even kicked the ball. That shouldn`t have counted either. The official that made the call didn`t even go over to see where the Boyle County player was at. He was not over the goal line with the football. A lot of cheap shots were called in the end. We all know who rightfully won that game and it should have been appealed. LO Was Not supposed to win and that official that wasn`t anywhere close to the play when he signalled touchdown, which he did not make. There were too many people right there on the field that saw what really happened in the end and know who the real winners were. Even some of the KHSSA officials on the field said the clock had already run out when the snap was made. Boyle County has a good team and played hard, but we did too, and we know who really won that game. You don`t just have to beat the team, you have to beat the tradition which happened in our case. Hmmmm!

I was devastated to hear the news about Ethan losing his battle. We here at Lone Oak were praying for him to recover. God had other plans for Ethan. I pray that God will put his hands on this family through this sad time and comfort them and all that knew him and loved him. My thoughts and prayers are with you at this time. I am so so sorrry about your loss. We just never know what God`s plans are for us. Hug your children and tell them you love them every day, no matter how big they are. Kids, tell your parents you love them too.

We here at Lone Oak will pray for this young man and for God to put his healing hands on him. This could very easily have been one of our own. I have a grandson this age and I cannot begin to imagine what his parents are going through. I will pray for them and may God comfort them at this time. Hope everything works out for this young man.
