One thing that brings everyone together is our children. We here in Monroe Co. are a tight group of people. Ethan is a fine young man well liked by all his teammates and people in the county. God be with this young and his family and thanks for all the prayers all around the state.

No change on his number as of yet. One thing that has changed is his pupils are no longer responsive to light , but the nurse said that was a little normal because of the induced coma...Thank you again everyone, this is heart wrenching on this community.

I'm sorry--I just saw this, I will be praying for this young man's recovery and his family.

Will be praying for this young man and his family. It is gut wrenching to be in their position. Prayers for God's will and comforting hand upon the family and community from Monroe County.

Just recieved word that it is not good. The swelling last night returned. The doctors told the family this morning that with the damage done to Ethans brain that the outcome is not favorable. If he makes it through the next three days the chance of recovery is still slim to none.

I'm so sorry to hear this. I have thought often about this young man, family and friends since hearing about this. So sad. :cry:

This sad event brings to my mind the unfortunate loss last year at this time of the three footballers from the western part of Kentucky who drowned while duck hunting...

 

So sad.
