December 6, 200916 yr Was this game in Louisville? This score is shocking to me, not that they lost, but the margin. If it was on their home court, makes one wonder what is going on down there.
December 6, 200916 yr Was this game in Louisville? This score is shocking to me, not that they lost, but the margin. If it was on their home court, makes one wonder what is going on down there. Why? They had 2 starters out and Siva off the bench. Yes it was a home game.
December 6, 200916 yr Ouch..UL ship is sinking fast. Sinking fast? Don't you think you're blowing things way out of proportion? The Cards are 7-2. The Cardinals have three starters out, and lost to a 6-1 Charlotte team whose only loss is to Duke. Take three starters away from UK, and how do you think they would fare?

Bad things happen when key players go down to injury -- especially three of them. Figured you guys would understand that the way the NC game unfolded today, or are you still recovering from the fear\ you felt in the final five minutes of that game?
December 6, 200916 yr On the upside, at least they didn't get beat by 30, which looked like a strong possibility.

That being said, they should of played better than they did today. It's one game...
December 6, 200916 yr Not surprised UL lost at all. I'm a little shocked by the score though. Having three big time contributors out will cripple any team. We saw that today with UK when Wall had to go out for a while. UL will be fine once they get everyone healthy:thumb:

Even though we were missing players they were a 19 point favorite. Terrible effort
December 6, 200916 yr Why? They had 2 starters out and Siva off the bench. Yes it was a home game. Maybe this loss speaks to L'ville's depth more than anything else. I understand that having starters out hurts a team, but it's not like they were playing a power house team. Just thought they would have kept this game in single digits.

December 6, 200916 yr How deep does Kentucky go at guard? Wow, you can't even stop talking about UK in UL threads...interesting.
December 6, 200916 yr Wow, you can't even stop talking about UK in UL threads...interesting. :thumb: I'm not sure what Kentucky has to do with UofL vs. Charlotte. Anyway, I was shocked when I saw the score, but then I remembered the injuries, so its not AS shocking. What's the status on the 3 UofL guys?
December 6, 200916 yr Having 3 of your best players out really messes with the chemistry of the team. Lville will rebound from this and be just fine. After all they don't have BCG for a coach. Rick will get them back on track and hopefully with the week off they get healthy.
