"I'm a fan of ANYONE playing against UofL," as posted by someone with a UK avatar.

UK has now broken into the UofL thread. Any discussion between the two teams is now acceptable as the UK fan presence has announced itself in writing as being a part of the thread.

Please forgive the use of my senses, emprical evidence and the faculty of reason to draw inferences. It won't happen again. They're clearly not welcome here.

To everyone being critical of Jim mentioning UK... please note that the subject of UK was brought into this thread by a UK fan. See posts 6, 9 and 12.

I thought UofL would lose this game. Charlotte is always a feisty team and can kill you if you aren't ready to defend them well. I was SHOCKED by how bad things got. I was in BG and so I didn't watch it... thank goodness. I thought Preston was supposed to play today; Pitino obviously thought he wasn't ready. Get well soon, guys.

Really? I don't see that.

I didn't watch the game. Have only watched UL once and that was against ETSU. They didn't look great, not sure who was and who wasn't playing that day...wasn't paying close attention.

 OK... :ohbrother:

Hey, things are going to get touchy in the UofL/UK threads this year. The UK fans are vibrating at a very high frequency these days and it is almost intolerable to walk outside your house in this city. It hasn't been this difficult to suppress UK hate since 1998. I'll never go into a UK thread because I wouldn't be able to hold down my lunch. But when a UK fan comes trolling and makes a statement in a UofL thread, I'll say something and support anyone that does.

Things aren't touchy, things are civil. Some UK fans love when Louisville loses, some Louisville fans love when Kentucky loses. Such is life.

How deep does Kentucky go at guard?

A little deeper if Cal would play Liggins.

But when a UK fan comes trolling and makes a statement in a UofL thread, I'll say something and support anyone that does.

Give it up. No UK fan brought UK into the thread.

My point was that it doesn't really matter how deep your team is, if your top three guards are out, you're going to struggle. I was offering you guys a hypothetical example for you to ponder.

Regardless of who did what first, does no one care to address my question/point from these posts? Wildcat fans seemed ready to dismiss Louisville as a terrible team because of this loss — which was indeed a bad one — but the fact remains is that any team, including Kentucky, would look pretty ordinary, if not downright bad, with three of its top four guards out.

But they don't...

Can't we all just get along boys. We all love college basketball, let's enjoy the season especially during the holiday season.

Ergo, my use of the term, "hypothetical."

And gals....:D.

I am a rarity, I support both UK and UofL. Grew up loving the boys in blue and have grown to love the boys in red. I hate it when a UK fan come into a UofL thread and states they are glad they lost and vice verse. Some UofL fans showed no mercy with Tubby and Billy G...couldn't wait to gloat.Same with Ky fans and the whole Coach P. mess.

I agree with Roman Empire. We all love college basketball. Support our state schools and our instate players that play for them. I supported Lofton at Tennessee, except when they played UK or Louisville. Can't see why other don't support their own Ky kids????:idunno:

Sorry bout that Gold Sunrise, won't happen again :). Great post, and I agree completely with you. Let's just all get along.
