And gals....:D.

I am a rarity, I support both UK and UofL. Grew up loving the boys in blue and have grown to love the boys in red. I hate it when a UK fan come into a UofL thread and states they are glad they lost and vice verse. Some UofL fans showed no mercy with Tubby and Billy G...couldn't wait to gloat.Same with Ky fans and the whole Coach P. mess.

I agree with Roman Empire. We all love college basketball. Support our state schools and our instate players that play for them. I supported Lofton at Tennessee, except when they played UK or Louisville. Can't see why other don't support their own Ky kids????:idunno:

Good post goldy! But sadly enough some people just don't have the ability to do this.

I didn't get to see this game but WOW...ugly!!!

For me to have been suffering from "disappointment" means I would have to care a lot more than I actually do, and I don't invest my personal self-worth in the fortunes of a sports team. Not even the Steelers.
Tell this to someone else, I've seen to many of your post. :D Your disappointment I refer to has nothing to do with the UofL loss. I was referring more to your disappointment that UK won.

Ding Ding Ding.

Hey, things are going to get touchy in the UofL/UK threads this year. The UK fans are vibrating at a very high frequency these days and it is almost intolerable to walk outside your house in this city. It hasn't been this difficult to suppress UK hate since 1998. I'll never go into a UK thread because I wouldn't be able to hold down my lunch. But when a UK fan comes trolling and makes a statement in a UofL thread, I'll say something and support anyone that does.

Ain't life grand! :D You need to get use to it. I have a feeling it is going to be around for awhile.

Just to let you know, I am a UofL fan, but UK is my #1.

Incorrect. Thanks for playing; try again later.

Regardless of who did what first, does no one care to address my question/point from these posts? Wildcat fans seemed ready to dismiss Louisville as a terrible team because of this loss — which was indeed a bad one — but the fact remains is that any team, including Kentucky, would look pretty ordinary, if not downright bad, with three of its top four guards out.

No doubt. Anybody who watched the UNC game saw how out of sync UK looked when Wall left the game for the first half of the second half. They looked like a different team. In some ways, it reminded me of the '96 squad and how much smoother things ran and how much better they looked with Epps running the point instead of Turner.

Incorrect. Thanks for playing; try again later.

If you say so. Good cop out.

I don't think most people realized how shorthanded UofL was Saturday night. I had a lot of UK fans calling and texting me to make fun of the Cards, until I told them 3 or UofL's top 5 players were out hurt. Most just saw the score and had no clue about the injury problems.

No team in the country would be very good missing that much talent. This Cardinal team is inexperience at a lot of different positions, and can't afford to go without those guys very long. UofL basically played the other night with one guard. Charlotte isn't a great team by any means, but they have enough talent to beat a UofL team that is missing 3 really good players.

That being said, the loss still hurts and the margin is unexcusable. The good thing is it isn't football and a bad loss in December doesn't end your season.:thumb:

Well, you are wrong. For you to say I'm "disappointed" because UK won a game means you're making assumptions about my level of caring that you're not qualified to make.

Ok, I'll give you the 3 players being out, however, does that mean their back-ups can't box out? 20 Offensive rebounds from Charlotte? Come on. I didn't see a great deal of effort being put forth by the Cards on the defensive end of the court.

Read the whole thing, I said it was unexcusable... even with the injuries. Meaning they played with no effort. I'm not defending the loss, it was a bad one no matter how you cut. As for the rebounding part, when your two best defenders are out, that effects rebounding too. But not like what happen the other night, just no effort. Reminded me of the WKU game last year.

:ohbrother: I :isurrender:

Back to the thread at hand: I have to agree with LCPATS when 3 of your top 6 players are out it is different for the team Chemistry. I would not want to take away our players of Wall, Bledsoe, and Dodson than go up against Charlotte.

I guess because it's a game. Somebody has to lose and somebody has to win, and nobody wants to lose to the other. Exactly what America was built on if you ask me!!!!
