Charlotte 87 Louisville 65

Bad things happen when key players go down to injury -- especially three of them. Figured you guys would understand that the way the NC game unfolded today, or are you still recovering from the fear\ you felt in the final five minutes of that game?

No not recovering from fear. Just laughing at your disappointment.

You have to remember we are coming off 2 years with BCG. It is funny how you want to bring up UK in a UofL and Charlotte thread.

U of L will be fine once everyone is healthy.

Nice Avatar, I like that.

:p Nope, still laughing and enjoying the win. Funny guy^

Wow, you can't even stop talking about UK in UL threads...interesting.

 It is funny though.

Was this game in Louisville? This score is shocking to me, not that they lost, but the margin. If it was on their home court, makes one wonder what is going on down there.

Man I did not see this coming!

What's the status on the 3 UofL guys?

Preston was dressed last night, and even warmed up with the team, so I can't see him being "out" very much longer. I haven't heard anything on any of them though.

:thumb: I'm not sure what Kentucky has to do with UofL vs. Charlotte.

Anyway, I was shocked when I saw the score, but then I remembered the injuries, so its not AS shocking.

My point was that it doesn't really matter how deep your team is, if your top three guards are out, you're going to struggle. I was offering you guys a hypothetical example for you to ponder.

For me to have been suffering from "disappointment" means I would have to care a lot more than I actually do, and I don't invest my personal self-worth in the fortunes of a sports team. Not even the Steelers.

To everyone being critical of Jim mentioning UK... please note that the subject of UK was brought into this thread by a UK fan. See posts 6, 9 and 12.

I thought UofL would lose this game. Charlotte is always a feisty team and can kill you if you aren't ready to defend them well. I was SHOCKED by how bad things got. I was in BG and so I didn't watch it... thank goodness. I thought Preston was supposed to play today; Pitino obviously thought he wasn't ready. Get well soon, guys.

Charlotte could do no wrong tonight. I loved it!

I am sorry I must be blind but can you please show me where UK was ever mentioned? All that was said was he roots for anyone playing Louisville. No where is UK mentioned. I have no team I root for but I am a fan of anyone playing the Bengals.

Below are post 6, 9, and 12. Please show me where UK is mentioned in the post because I'm having an extremely hard time finding it.
