It seems to me that if the KHSAA wanted it to be moved out of Louisvillle...that Lexington would have been a good move. I wonder if the KHSAA will produce attendance numbers? I kinda doubt it....as everyone says....follow the money. Something regarding this deal doesnt pass the smell test. That being said...I hope it turns out good for everyone...especially the kids,coaches and parents of all the teams involved. Go Rocks.

Things to keep in mind:

 

1) Would not have moved were it not for Big East Contract issues.

 

2) WKU was the only site with turf at the time that could handle the volume.

 

Therefore it was a move that HAD to be made and as such the best choice available was made. UK has no turf, thus is incapable of hosting.

Most X/T players and the diehard fans are very excited to be taking a road trip to BG....gives the game more of a playoff/championship feel instead of just part duex of the regular season meeting. Besides, the Pizza Palace has not been kind to the Tigers as of late and we are hoping a change of scenery does us good.

As to our arrongance Hearsay....I suppose a good number of us are. But, lest you forget, not all of us were born and bred in this big megaglopolus that some call "L-Ville". Some of us crept in late from the far corners of the Commonwealth and still hold allegiance to the counties our ancestors settled. So, you see, some of us do realize there is a great land beyond the borders of Jefferson County called "Kentucky" and we are not so "arrogant" to believe that the football playoffs should be scheduled at the convenience of St.X and Trinity.

I was in attendence at the 4A game; atmosphere was unbelieveable with the smaller venue; there is a Brown and Williamson type club, but I don't know how you get tickets up there; parking seemed to be the only issue with everyone trying to get into the main garage next to the stadium.

Why didn't the city of Bowling Green have some one directing traffic? What a mess and If you are attending the big game tonight better plan some extra time to get parked.

Did they ever give out the attendance from yesterday's games? It was packed for the 4A game.

Is it worse than at PJCS? I personally thought that the traffic was a drawback at PJCS. I mean, for me it wasn't too bad because I know the ways around most, but it always looked horrible.
