Until St. Xavier actually beats Trinity in the post-season, I'm not picking them to do so. I'll go with Trinity...and, I'm not sure it will be the nail-biter many are predicting.

Well I think that sets up as doom for St.X again this year. Trinity is playing at a different level than they were earlier in the year. The OL is healthy and Bishop is running the ball with a mission. Kragthorpe is finally healthy and has more younger playmakers in the lineup, especially Quick. The Rock defense is really underrated. They shut down the Male running attack which may not be up to X's level but it isn't too far off. And Beuhner with that ankle injury wont be as big of a threat to run the ball this time. If you all remember that really was the difference in the regular season, especially on crucial 3rd downs.

 

My prediction is T 31 X 21

 

And for those who didnt know. The first game was 14-7 going into the fourth quarter and Trinity had plenty of opportunities but turned the ball over late in the games with an interception, fumble and a few on downs which set up most of the X scores late.

1st of all Male is not an outstanding opponent. X beat them 62 - 20.

Football is not a one man game. A 160 pound running back was not that important and as for him being their best running back, that is questionable. He was one of three they had been touting up to that point. Plus, we can all play the "but" game. But, X had 6 defensive starters out that game too. Comparative scores mean nothing. What X has or has not done up to this point is the same as to what T has or has not done up to now. T is the favorite and the preasure is on their players and coaches to do what everyone on here believes they will do and that is to beat X. Good Luck to both teams.

They don't look nasty at all IMO. They look like kids every team has. And #5 isn't even playing. If x blitzes every play that leaves huge holes that Trinity will make them pay for in the passing game. Not smart at all. :confused:

Dude every team in the state has guys that can flex there muscles and look intimidating for a picture...These guys are high school kids and Trinity is no cupcake they have guys that are just as good if not better...Ha and blitzing every time is a recipe for getting blown out...WOW is all I can say they better show more than they did against SK if they wanna beat Trinity this time of year...

I would love to know how old you are...and what your connection with X is.....just sayin'....don't need to know who you are....but would love to have some details...
