Unless someone complains the ACLU has no standing. I love it. But all it would take is one person and it would probably be over.

Just saw the "cheap shot" behind the back to the knees by a Johnson Central player... wow! Was the Central player a senior or will he back next year?

I was told at practice today that this same player did the same thing during a goalline play also. Somebody needs to explain why this player wasn't ejected after the first time. I hope some official on this site can explain why he wasn't ejected.

On another site one of the JC fans said he was going after him for a cheap shot he recieved earlier on the play. What really happened was #55 Tyler Grubbs pancaked him and must have got his feeling hurt so he was going to take it out on someone. If this is smashmouth football I hope Highlands doesn't follow.

Wow!!!! That could be the biggest cheap shot I have ever seen in high school football. That is ridiculous and totally uncalled for.:madman::madman:

That needs to be reviewed by the khsaa and a rule change should be made. A 15 yard penalty means nothing for a cheap shot like that. That should be an automatic ejection.

I've seen this quite a few times during my son's high school career but never saw anyone tossed. The Bird's player is extremely lucky he took most of the hit from behind and not from the side. I don't know how one would handle this other than assigning a spotter with a camera to catch it on video and send it in with a complaint to KHSAA. Lots of things happen in the heat of battle and anyone who has ever played high school football knows it.
