I would like to see the hit by #19 Roller when #1 I think for JC didnt have the ball. I think he lost part of his headgear on that one.

Wow!!! First, its the JC Radio guys and now this incident. Let me quote the radio guys after they were asked to move. "Classless Act by a Classless Program". Iam not feeling the love here. :cry:

I've seen this quite a few times during my son's high school career but never saw anyone tossed. The Bird's player is extremely lucky he took most of the hit from behind and not from the side. I don't know how one would handle this other than assigning a spotter with a camera to catch it on video and send it in with a complaint to KHSAA. Lots of things happen in the heat of battle and anyone who has ever played high school football knows it.

 

The refs saw it and called a penalty on it. It was an intentional attempt to end that kids football season if not career.

You are absolutely right on that one. Kids are kids, and they will do some really stupid things especially during the heat of the moment. The more and more I sit here and stew about it, I am getting more upset with the official who threw the flag and saw it but did not act with an ejection. The officials are the safety of the game and if they are not going to handle these types of situations correctly then that really concerns me as a parent of a player. :madman:

You know after watching this over and over and always wanting to give a kid the benefit of the doubt, I absolutely believe there was intent to inflict injury there. But like I stated in my earlier post, there is something like this darn near every game and probably a player could be ejected every game.

He had 30 yards to think what he did trailing the play. There is no excuse for this type play, heat of the moment or not.
