Heard a few minutes ago from the ND beat writer that if ND will payoff their coach and there is already a search starting. Cincinnati/Iowa/Sooners/ and one more that I forgot was mentioned. This was on College Football Live.

Very interesting. I have heard Stoops is a legit candidate.

I don't know if that would be a step up for Stoops.

Historically, sure.

But for the past ten or twenty years, not so much. Additionally, although the Sooners can and do recruit nationwide, just by centering the recruiting around Oklahoma and Texas, they can bring in the big recruits, unlike Indiana, Kentucky, Ohio.

I think this may be similar to Calipari/Kentucky/Memphis, except ND has been further down for a much longer period of time.

I really look for BK to take over.

While it may happen it is not sounding likely from my people close to BK. Of course that could change in an instant like it has with many coaches in the past, but there are things bigger than a job that are likely to keep him where he's at for a while longer...

I hope you are right! I don't want him to leave UC.

I think it would be a great move for Stoops, and relatively low-risk, when you think about it. Things have gotten stale for him in Norman, and he might be looking for a different challenge. This is a great opportunity for the right person to rebuild if they know how to sell the tradition (see: Calipari, John), and have personality. If it fails, Stoops can say it was too broken for even him to try to rebuild, they part ways and ND starts relaxing certain thorny admissions rules.

Stoops was in the national title game last year. I don't see why he leaves when he has a great thing going at OU.

However, there is a new Five Guys right across from the main entrance.

On an ND board someone said that they had a "source" that said Kelly and ND are already discussing contracts.

Now that is some pretty good grub, too!

We have one in Lexington, and I get a laugh that it is on Nicholasville Road right next to McDonalds.

These Five Guys are fearless!

And the family has also been spotted shopping for horse farms in Lexington...
