November 8, 200916 yr The Bearcats pull off the win and keep the winning streak alive but I don't know if they want an Alabama/Florida/Texas in January... Good luck going forward to them.

November 8, 200916 yr Good teams almost always have to squeak one out during the season. The Bearcats did that today.
November 8, 200916 yr Good teams almost always have to squeak one out during the season. The Bearcats did that today. Good teams don't often look as bad squeaking one out as UC did tonight...
November 8, 200916 yr Survive and advance, thats all that matters right now to the top teams as we wind down the regular season.
November 8, 200916 yr I feel for Tony Pike but no way you bench Collaros at this point. He adds another dimension to their offense. Pike's been Wally Pipped.
November 8, 200916 yr Defense has to get a lot better. The D has been fantastic all season, but they played awful in the 2nd half tonight. Major hats off to UCONN. After all they have been through over the last month, it really says something about that program to keep fighting the way they have...

I think BK made it clear the Job belongs to Zach too bad for Tony. I just wonder if the BK offense will turn into a system offense instead of a pro style offense, clearly Pike has the pro upside but as I stated in the thread last week Collaros brings that extra college element.

What he said on the ABC post game and what he said in the media room after cooling down a bit were two different things. I honestly wouldn't be shocked if either one started Friday night (which I didn't think was possible before tonight if Pike is ready to go)...

I honestly wouldn't be shocked if either one started Friday night (which I didn't think was possible before tonight if Pike is ready to go)... It would make more sense to play Tony in my opinion. They are still a winning team as shown before with Tony and he is probably a 2nd round draft pick after one time being the 4th QB was it? That is a really nice recruiting pitch.

I was fully in the Pike has to keep his job camp until tonight. Zach is making that very, very hard to stand by as he gets more comfortable...
November 8, 200916 yr How can a Heisman hopeful not have his job when he comes back from injury? How can a Heisman hopeful lose his job to a guy who was out with injury?:sssh:
November 8, 200916 yr UC got exposed in this one. UConn is not an offensive power by any means, and they took it to that Bearcat defense. Things would get ugly for them if they play Texas, Bama, or UF. It makes zero sense to play Pike at this point. Collaros is just a freshman and is playing every bit as good as Pike did. No sense putting Pike back in when he won't be there next season.
