Yuengling Beer

Featured Replies

So the rumor was false?

I emailed a good friend who works for Stagnaro Distributing. He told me that from what he knows, Yuengling is looking at the possibility of buying one of a few breweries/bottling plants that will help them move more into the midwest region, and that the Memphis bottling plant seems to be the one they're focusing their attention on. No deals have been made at this point, but he said he can't imagine that the move won't bring Yuengling beer to Kentucky and Ohio.

That sucks too ( Bourbon ) Really don't drink anything alcoholic on what anyone would consider a regular or irregular basis .

Went to Pittsburg this weekend and brought home a case had my first one tonight very tasty.

My all time favorite is Newcastle...Second Is Negra Modelo...:thumb:

Went to the Bengals game in Green Bay last fall and got hooked on Leinenkugel's. I had never noticed it around here, but it is available at the beer cave type stores (Party Source / Cork N Bottle). I agree that Newcastle draft is also A+++.

A Wisconsin Beer. Leinenkugel and Huber were 2 of my favorite beers when I lived in Milwaukee. Huber Dark, only available during lent, is the best beer I've ever tasted.

Does anyone else think that Yuengling in a can tastes better than Yuengling in a bottle. Because I sure do...

It may have something to do with the beer getting "light struck" in the bottle as the bottles aren't dark tinted glass.

Likewise...

Tried it last week and liked it, my uncle said it tastes like the first beer he had, Bavarian. I didn't like the light berr though.

I don't often drink beer, but when I do, I prefer Yuengling Light....in a bottle. Cans are gross.

Because you're a Light weight... :p

If you guys like beer so much, you ought to try homebrewing sometime. It's not tough to do. It is worth the work. I never need to drive to another state to drink my favorite beer.
