Yuengling Beer

Featured Replies

I had my first sip of this excellent Lager beer last night while celebrating Halloween Festivities at some friends house. From what my buddy told me you cannot buy that beer anywhere near NKY and he bought every case a small convenience store had while on a golf trip in WV last weekend. It is brewed by the oldest brewery in the US and I believe somewere in PA.

Just curious if anyone else out there has had this or can buy it where they live.

Bought some in Tennessee a while back because of all the hype I saw on a previous thread on here.

I really don't get what the big deal is. Is it good? Yeah. The best beer ever? By far, no it is not. Give me a Samichlaus or Optimator any day.

I have a friend that really likes it. I think she gets it in WV or maybe some parts of Ohio. She swears by it, but I haven't tried it. I'll ask her where she finds it at.

Its not sold in Ohio. You can go to their website and see a map of where it is sold. It is all on the east coast. The closest places to buy it from Kentucky is West Virginia or Tennessee.

My favorite beer ever. I'm so glad I'm within driving range of West Virginia.

Yeah, I always look forward to the "care package" I get whenever my brother visits with his wife's family in Virginia. I'm out right now, but they'll be going that way for Thanksgiving, so hopefully I can hold out (or raid my buddy's stash over in E'town :D ) until then.

Whenever we go to Charelston, SC I substitute it for water for a week. LOVE IT!!!

What do you mean, slightly?! :D

If you get a chance to try their Black & Tan, it's awesome.

I remember at WKU when we would go to Nashville, we would fill up on it. Now that I am in Florida, it is a half mile away! Love it!

I get a couple cases a month. I'm able to buy it in Kenova,WV - about 10 minutes from my house.

Can someone tell me what makes it so special? Again, I've tried it, but don't find it any more appealing than a regular old Budweiser. Not much taste to it, IMO. However, it is a better option than your standard domestic beers.

Somethings wrong with your taste buds, my friend.
