A great game tonight. It was very hard fought. Coaches for both teams were working hard.

Hey, all I commented on was the immaterial point regarding it being catchable.

 

If the ball was 40 feet over the receiver's head and the defender nailed him before the ball got there its PI.

 

And the right call was made. Thanks for making sure we got the correct ruling though...:thumb:

I thought the game got very interesting at 24-14 and Ryle had momentum at that point. I'd be very surprised if you could find many HHS fans who thought the game was a lock at that point. Credit to HHS for answering Ryle's score and ending Ryle's momemtum and comeback hopes.

I thought Ryle looked very impressive. If they had not made the turnovers, they might have pulled off the upset. They came out of halftime fired up and took it right down for a score. They were moving the ball very well. In my opinion, this was the toughest test the Birds have faced, other than St. X.

First off, it's probably not considered "whining" when I clearly state HHS is a terrific team, the better team tonight, and that the (IMO) poor officiating calls had no impact on the outcome of the game. Secondly, please note that I was responding to an HHS poster who was "whining" (your definition) that HHS should have had two more INT's were it not for some bad calls.

 

And yes, I agree to disagree.

Wow. You guys are a sensitive bunch. I simply point out a common error in fans' thinking and I get nailed for it. Strong effort on your part. When you and others now refrain from showing your backside by yelling "uncatchable" you'll thank me, right?
