October 24, 200916 yr Both teams struggled against UT, Arkansas was drilled by Bama. UF drilled UK, Bama let them hang around though. Like I said, good teams win close games. But, I just don't think one team should get a pass when the other one doesn't. And I can't stand UF!
October 24, 200916 yr This win was probably good for UK. They would get a better bowl placement if 2 SEC teams make the BCS. Also they could possibly get a higher slot than UT. Also, now UT knows what it is like to lose at the last second on a blocked FG.
October 24, 200916 yr I thought Saban's play selection at the end of the first half would come back to haunt him. I was with Danielson and couldn't believe Saban. 2nd and short inside the five and you call two pass plays after hammering the Vols all the way down. It was a dumb play call (actually 2) and I think changed the complexion for Tennessee.

UT played good, but the best team won. I do think it was obvious who was coming off the bye and who was heading into it. Never said the best team didn't win, I said they were outplayed today. Also it was a good thing he took the knee, with one player running around with his helmet off and the team running out on the field, I wish he kept running.
October 25, 200916 yr The SEC is the best from top to bottom but they are all very beatable. I do not think you have the super human teams people advertised a few years ago.

A Tennessee player could have just as easily picked it up, and taken it in for a touchdown.

It was the same scenario for the Vols if somebody had just seen the ball, and picked it up. The smart thing to do for the Bama player was just to fall on it. No sense taking any chances.

Onside kick, give me a break, everything went right for the vols with less than a minute to go. We need an off week and we have got to throw the ball down field for crying out loud.
