"I've had 100 things worse happen at Kentucky"

Featured Replies

^ Bro...the UK program has been the antithesis of classy for the majority of it's being.....it's just a spade being called a spade.

As much as I hate to admit it, you are right.

Kentucky has been the post child of bad boy to the NCAA infractions committee for many years. Obviously, at times, UK has been clean with the NCAA. Unfortunately, there has been too many dark clouds as well.

So he is saying that he had more than 10 situations per year at UK and 25 per year at Providence where his players were arrested. Another example of Pitino's use of hyperbole to distort the truth.:ohbrother:

Does that include he and the cheerleading team?

UK has been as "classy" as any of the other major programs, with UNC as the only possible exception. The other major programs, such as UCLA, Indiana, UConn, Kansas and Duke have many skeletons in their closets.

You are sure of this?

UK Fan insecurity, nothing more nothing less.

You are sure of this?

No, UNC would not be the exception.

Sounds like Pitino is missing UK imo. If worst stuff happened at UK, we must be better at keeping it out of the national media because I don't recall a negative anything with Pitino while he was at UK.

Looks like he's not in Camelot anymore.

He's simply acknowledging that they cover things up in Lexington. Kind of like how the football team preseason scuffle thing (shotguns, forced entry, injured officer in pursuit...) just sort of disappeared.

I know... Kentucky is the only place that covers things up... shame on us.

You're missing the point, what does that have to do with the situation in Louisville? He didn't need to bring up UK or Providence but he did to try and shield what was going on now with his team.:ohbrother:

I see you're from the Pitino/Obi Wan school of diversion. Congrats, you appear to be well taught.

UL vs. UK...:popcorn::popcorn::popcorn:...now that's entertainment!!

Which college basketball program is it that you like? I have trouble keeping up with all of your teams.

^ It's not hard.....I only root 100% for three teams total...covering all sports.

Imagine that, a program that wants to win every game. This world has gone crazy.

HAHAHA. Duke has the whiniest players in NCAA Div. 1 basketball.
