Did Pitino coach at Kentucky? I remember Rupp, Hall, and Smith.

Seriously if he wants the distractions to go away then quit doing interviews. He can't because his enormous ego won't let him.

He's only half right. He lost 50 games at Kentucky

Classy.

^ Bro...the UK program has been the antithesis of classy for the majority of it's being.....it's just a spade being called a spade.

Just for the record he mentioned Providence too. He wasn't taking a shot at Kentucky IMO.

If UK could only have the Theatre Arts talent that the Duke basketball team has.

 Coming from a Duke fan.

Imagine that, a program that wants to win every game. This world has gone crazy.

I must have missed something in the article. No mention of 9/11 or Ted Kennedy. He usually throws in those diversionary tactics. He did use the UK card to attempt to throw blame away from his program.

Right, he tried to throw two schools under the bus to take the heat off. It doesn't matter if he used to work there or not. What if he had said "50 things have happened worse at UConn, and 100 things at Pitt."

UK and Providence have nothing to do with two of his players being arrested and him doing nothing about it. You can play it off if you want, but don't bring other schools into it.

What I find most interesting is that EVERY time even the slightest of incidents concerning Rick are brought to light, he responds EVERY time with a shot a UK. That's not rabble rousing by UK fans (as I'm sure YOU will accuse), that's not a "UK fan thing" either. It's plain and simply Rick playing dodge ball. UK, UK fans, UK adminstration, had nothing to do with this nor with any of of the blame game that the media clearly wants to play. Perhaps in your eyes if UK had been squeaky clean program like Louisville, (oops that doesn't work) or UCLA, (uh that one neither), or Kansas (hmmm) well, you know what I mean.

UK has been as "classy" as any of the other major programs, with UNC as the only possible exception. The other major programs, such as UCLA, Indiana, UConn, Kansas and Duke have many skeletons in their closets.
