AAU in Northern Kentucky

Give Midwest Hoops (Cincy & N. KY sites) league a look. They are offering the same league as the SWO. I believe it's $150 for the league not including ref fee's. The gate is $3 for an adult. 12 game schedule. You can stay at the N. KY site or you can have a mixed schedule of N. KY and Cincy games.

All over nky.. They have won the State AAU Championship the past two years. Most of the kids were on the Tarheels team that finished 8th in the country in D1 Nationals..

Saw a couple of games, no team really stood out. The $4.00 at the door did not bring a smile to my face either!!:madman:

Just tell them you are going bowling and they will let you in. LOL Or carry a clipboard and act like a coach.

SOAS used to have a family rate. $10.00 and mom, dad, kids, grandparents, uncles, etc, etc all got in on it but they had to be there all at one time.

I thought they still did this.

I did see some quality refs at SOAS yesterday.

Are you being serious here or joking? Honest question.

Are they 5th graders playing up or are the kids mostly 6th graders?

They are the same refs so I don't know how things could change??

There are some refs who are very good at SOAS!:thumb:

Some, I agree with you..:thumb:

I am being serious, there were several refs I saw at there that are rather talented and do it for the love of the game and not just the bonus income. I saw a couple of new faces there too. The Pompilio kid does a nice job, he was a new addition? Or maybe I've just not seen him there before? Though I'm not a fan of a $4.00 cover or how they run their leagues, The refereeing has been decent in years past for the most part. Beats what you get at the KBA !!

Anything beats the refs at the KBA. The worst group around.
