I don't know all the specifics. With the bad weather and they are representing Ockerman (team jerseys):ohbrother. Must be liabilty issues. I wish they would have played. I would have liked to see how Stanley did against some of the southern and eastern teams. They have no one that can match up with him however they are more balanced than Ockerman. Would have been very interesting. Maybe next year.:ohbrother: -

From what I was told the whole team was in Lexington in a hotel ready to play. There coach is the AD at Boone County. They were told from the school that they could not play because of the weather. Don't know if they alerted the KBA of their situation. -
Who is the best shooter out of KY freshman??

McNeil is the best shooter and hatton is the best all around player. -

I believe they will make the 3 floors available for larger MidWest Hoops (Cincy) tournaments. -

2 starters with a broken foot and 1 starter had pnemonia before the tournament. 2 other players had the flu the same week. Decided to get healthy before we play again. The Jets, Rockets and Warriors are solid teams. Congrats to the Jets! -

Midwest Hoops (NKY) is having a tournament this weekend. It's on Mid America's (Louisville, KY) website. All ages, call Fred Hale at 502-736-0806 or 502-727-7404. -
Conner vs Walton will be a good matchup. McNeil and Moeves are back at the 8th grade level preparing for 8th grade state.

No, the Jets were beat twice by the U13 Knights (moeves) the other U14 Knights team in the SOAS league is the Wendling team. There is another Knights U14 team (Gieman) that did not play in the SOAS league. They are only playing tournaments. The Jets are a solid team. It would be a good test for them vs U14 Knights (Gieman) or the U14 Tar Heels (Pouncy). -
I would throw the Walton 6th grade team in with these 3. Walton beat Gray by 3 at Walton.

I've heard that the Jets will be playing in the 2nd Winter SOAS Session. Will they be playing any tournaments? They need to try to find the U14 Tar Heels and/or the U14 N. KY Knight and see how they matchup. These two U14 teams are the measuring stick in the N. KY area. -

I believe these boys will play at St. Henry and Boone County. It's a combination of Ockerman, St. Paul and IHM. -
Simon Kenton 60 Walton 37 (JV)

SK has more 1, 2 and 3's to throw at you. It will all depend on who's bigs will develop. The Burns kid(8th) is much more developed at his age than his older brother. I saw an SK freshman that was 6'3" or 4" that looked like he had potential. Skilled bigs will make the difference between the two schools. -

SK has some great freshman and WV has a great 8th grade class. SK 's freshman are much better today. -

No, McNeil was not there. Had a broken foot. But your are correct SK would still win. It will be interesting to see in the future how SK's freshman vs WV's 8th grade class will do against each other. My opinion is....who ever has the most skilled bigs will prevail. -

Mcneil broke his foot and will be back next week. Moeves has had the flu for 10 days. Mcneil will start playing freshman next week....which will make WV's freshman team pretty tough. -

WV could not contain SK's driving, and SK's defensive was better. -

you know you have defensive problems when Trimble scores in the 50"s. -
Would also like to see 8th grade Gray, Conner and Walton down state.
