mcpapa Posted October 8, 2009 Posted October 8, 2009 I remember the Erpenbecks not being the most savory of characters. Just as long as they're not digging up Hickory Sticks, my new favorite place to play.
Wireman Posted October 8, 2009 Posted October 8, 2009 I thought Jim Carey found Hoffa in Bruce Almighty?
nees1212 Posted October 8, 2009 Posted October 8, 2009 I'm curious to hear what this is about. Obviously, the Erpenbecks were brought into the story do to the location, but there are many homes along the outer edges of the golf course, some are million dollar homes, and the others are your average home. Then again, it could be from someone who works at the course hiding something. You would think that whenever the hole was dug and refilled, the grounds crew had to of noticed. :idunno:

I'm guessing there's a connection.
Clyde Posted October 9, 2009 Author Posted October 9, 2009 When was the course built? Club was built in 1929. Not sure how long they've had a golf course.
ColonelCrazy Posted October 9, 2009 Posted October 9, 2009 The same FBI office that handled the Erpenbeck case handled this operation. I'm guessing there's a connection. Do you think Northern Kentucky has multiple FBI offices investigating the same area? Of course it's the same office. It's our office.

Latch Posted October 10, 2009 Posted October 10, 2009 I heard it is Erpenbeck's. It was 1000ft from the house.
HammerTime Posted October 10, 2009 Posted October 10, 2009 What else could they being going after from him that is a closed case and he is in jail for a long time.
NEERFAN Posted October 10, 2009 Posted October 10, 2009 If this box was in the middle of the course, how did it get there without anyone ever noticing. If a backhoe was needed, then it wasn't just a few inches underground. Will we ever find out what they found?
Blue Magic Posted October 10, 2009 Posted October 10, 2009 If this box was in the middle of the course, how did it get there without anyone ever noticing. If a backhoe was needed, then it wasn't just a few inches underground. Will we ever find out what they found? I was told a large amount of cash and some documents. That could be pure speculation too, so don't take my word for it.
