October 5, 200916 yr After USC beats them, it won't happen. If Notre Dame is going to be USC finally. This is the year it could happen. This is not your normal USC team at all. They are still very good, but also not the same team that usually just dominates. Notre Dame has the offense that will score on them, it will just come down to the defense. Notre Dame IMO has a very good chance to win the game, and would be even better if Michael Floyd wasn't hurt.
October 6, 200916 yr Notre Dame was given the game on the two point conversion that tied the game. First the runner was down and second #59 or 57 drug him into the endzone which is a penalty. Clausen for Heisman give me a break, exactly who have they beaten?

I honestly believe the entire game is predicated upon Notre Dame being able to stop the run.
October 6, 200916 yr My daughter told me it did not take him long to get up and he walked off. That is great news. :thumb:
October 6, 200916 yr Will "close" wins be enough for Charlie? Only if it culminates in a "close" game in a BCS bowl game. I'm not sure that he has to win a BCS game, just be competitive.

What Heisman candidate has beaten anyone really good?

The obvious difference is that McCoy and Tebow will both be playing and most likely beating multiple top 15-20 teams while ND will be getting beat by the only one they play.
October 6, 200916 yr The obvious difference is that McCoy and Tebow will both be playing and most likely beating multiple top 15-20 teams while ND will be getting beat by the only one they play. Oh I see. Thanks:thumb: I still would take Clausen on my team over any QB in the nation.
October 6, 200916 yr Oh I see. Thanks:thumb: I still would take Clausen on my team over any QB in the nation. And you'd regret it. He may be the best pro prospect (which is highly debatable itself), but there are 3-4 QBs that are better in the college game right now.

He has a very strong arm, and is the only one that runs from under center as much as the shotgun (w/ the exception of now due to the turf toe.)

October 6, 200916 yr  :ohbrother: Have you watched him yet this year??? That's not too far off. He has a cannon and is making good decisions. I wouldn't put in in a spread option offense, but if you are looking pro style, there isn't a better QB.
