September 25, 200917 yr Is Ole Miss really top 5, obviously not anymore? 15ish sounds good right about now for them. Maybe even a few spots farther back.
September 25, 200917 yr Author I think they are 22ish. They are no better than Arkansas, Georgia, and obviously Soutch Carolina.
September 25, 200917 yr Ole Miss was way,way overrated. Maybe the belong in the 15-20 Range. Snead is horrible hyped up.
September 25, 200917 yr I hate to say I told you so...... but I don't get fooled by teams like that too often.
September 25, 200917 yr South Carolina played well, but their offense still doesn't impress. With their defense though, they will be in a lot of games against most any opponent.
September 25, 200917 yr Was Ole Miss this hyped because they have been the only team to beat Florida? I thought coming into this game ranked fourth and was just thinking how in the world do they have Ole Miss that high, they must not have graduated or lost any starters on both sides of the ball. Since their season wasn't all that special last year aside from a couple big wins, I just thought the so-called experts knew how good they are better than I was supposed to be . I guess I'll have to start trusting myself more because The Rebels were flat out terrible. They may have been having a bad game, but even if its still hard for a team to look that bad, especially when they are ranked top 5. Which we see it all the time, a team that starts out ranked in the top 10 and by the end of the season is not ranked and a five-hundred team. It just happens and I think Ole Miss will be the next casualty in a long line of under achievers.
September 25, 200917 yr So happy for my Gamecocks! Their offense leaves a lot to be desired, there is no denying that. The defense was dominant. They deserve some recognition at this point. Snead looked awful...but then again his line wasn't helping him much.

September 25, 200917 yr Good game. I thought SC should have won by atleast 14 points. They got real sloppy in the second half on offense.
September 25, 200917 yr Very good game but I honestly feel that Snead is overrated as a top QB. He made some pretty horrible decisions last night that really hurt Ole Miss and kept them from gaining any kind of momentum.
September 25, 200917 yr  Laugh if you want. How many times have I stepped out on a ledge this season and have been wrong? Strictly college football though. I don't buy the hype on garbage teams like Ole Miss. Yes they are a good team, but were never a serious threat to win the title. Someone laughed win I said they'd lose at least 3 games, so do you see them beating Bama or LSU this season? I think they'll have a hard enough time with Arkansas and Auburn. No SEC teams that they beat besides that were that impressive. Beating Texas Tech is something most title contenders should do, or teams with defense and a decent offense should do.
