September 15, 200917 yr I just saw on Twitter that UK freshman Ridge Wilson will be charged with assault after hitting a girl or something like that. KSR has this up: UK freshman linebacker Ridge Wilson will be charged with 4th degree assault after being accused of punching a female in the face on UK’s campus. WLEX is reporting the Wilson immediately left the scene of the incident and has not been seen since. We’ll keep you posted as details emerge.
September 15, 200917 yr This is a very upsetting story to me. This kid had everything going for him. He was one of only 5 true freshman to play in UK's opener, and his future with UK was so bright. I am sure Rich Brooks will have lots of pressure to release this young man. Just a sad, sad story.
September 15, 200917 yr 4th degree assault? Anybody know what that entails? Any type of simple, aggressive behavior that does not involve the use of a deadly weapon or instrument (i.e. slap to the face, punch to the body, push to the ground, etc.)
September 15, 200917 yr Channel 27 is reporting Coach Brooks saying he is suspended for the Louisville game.

September 15, 200917 yr Kids make mistakes and I honestly hope Brooks gives him another chance because I think Wilson has a very promising future. I just hope he can learn from something like this.
September 15, 200917 yr It never ceases to amaze me how college athletes do STUPID things like this that could jeopardize their entire careers.

Amen have everything in the world going their way and try so hard to blow it. Isn't this kid from Louisville also? Not meaning that that is a reason for his actions more oalong the lines of not playing against his hometown college.
