We also had a kid get into a situation with a female, (girlfriend?) he missed some time but is back with the team. usually this stuff goes on during the off season, hopefully he learns from this.

One difference in this situation is that the girl's dad probably isn't going to come out and say the girl caused the problem.

I agree with Deuce on this one. It is amazing how a kid could endanger his future before his college career really gets started.

This is not what kids do! Im not saying this kids future should be shot just from this incident, but this should carry some very hefty consequences. This type of thing is starting to happen way to often among college athletes and the message needs to be sent this will not be tolerated. Seems like America is becoming a place where people can do whatever they want as long as they say that their afterwords. Its really scary to me.

I don't know of a situation where that would be "OK" either, but I've been around enough college boys and college girls to know that the rest of the story matters.
