I'll take Highlands by 3 TD's in the end. Seems like the amount Highlands likes to beat teams by for the most part lol so it seems like a safe bet.

I'll say 31-8 Highlands.

 

This sounds about right. Boone has a lot of work to do before the start of the district schedule.

I will take the birds 35-10 but I do think that Boone will move the ball with their running game.

Boone County doesn't stand a chance. Two weeks in a row they get blown out. 49-8

Highlands will take this one in the first half.

Highlands does what they want in this game. Dale will have 2nd stringers in by 2nd series of the 3rd quar. The Birds are the best in N. Ky, but will have their heads handed to them against St. X. Hope they prove me wrong.:thumb:

Blue Birds will make Boone blue 31--14

Huge, and I mean huge trap game for Highlands. With all the talk that's been going on since the summer about the X game next week and with kids being kids, it's very possible that the kids aren't focusing enough on Boone Co. The coaches will do what they can to make sure that doesn't happen, but sometimes even with the best of coaches, it happens (think Bryan Station last year). I can assure you that Boone Co. is focusing on Highlands. Plus there is a lot of pride in the Boone Co. program. With last week's rather embarrassing loss for the Rebels, they are going to want to make a statement this week. Also, Boone runs a power runnng game offense. We've demonstrated some weakness against teams that like to run the ball. Add to that the fact that with X scouts likely to be in the stands, Dale isn't going to want to show much. I think Highlands will win, but it will be a narrower margin of victory than some are predicting.
