July 14, 200917 yr Lets not panic here guys. College football players are involved in fights at parties all the time. Unless they can prove it was one of our boys who fired the shot, they might miss a half or a game.

July 14, 200917 yr Brett Dawson's facebook status is "can save you the trouble of continuing to ask: I'm on vacation and don't know anything about this UK football off-the-field situation." Chip Cosby has yet to mention anything on his facebook status and he normally changes his status a few times a day. I'd say he is pretty busy getting the scoop.
July 14, 200917 yr My bad, just saw Chip's facebook status and he says he isn't allowed to work the story becasue he is on furlough. That was 6 hours ago. Here are some of the comments people left on Chip's facebook page..... UK vs UT fight that lead to some "kick Door" pistol play...Two improtant players involved as well as two others...They will say that the UK players were protecting the honor of some females; one or two game suspension and all will be well...for future refrence..when something bad happens at UK, look on a UL message board...vice versa for a Bad incident at UL...all jokes aside...I hate to see athletes ruin their lives/careers There was an incident Saturday night at the Royal Lexington involving some UK football players and there are rumors of a weapon being involved.... the weapon is still a rumor and as of now, no arrests or charges have been made. It's a student housing complex. Apparently no one paid attention to the "What happens at the Royal stays at the Royal" sign outside. An altercation is confirmed between UK football players and UT athletes, but the details and its aftermath are 100% rumor at this point.
July 14, 200917 yr Bad news. Kentucky had such a good defense last year, and after losing only a couple starters (Jarmon hurts big time) I was expecting more of the same this year. Only difference is I was also expecting them to get a little more help on the otherside of the ball to go with the solid D. I guess we can only hope for the best, however, when a gun is involved things get pretty rough.
