He also said that Mo Egar's father passed away last night at thr Reds game. Any Details on what happened???? Masset to the DL & Ramon Ramirez brought up. Volquez to the DL & Homer Bailey brought up. Votto diagnosed with an inner ear infection & will not go to the DL. I don't know of any other moves.

The makeup of this team is just not as good with Gonzo in the lineup. Does Gonzalez playing shortstop keep Willy Taveras from hitting? Taveras is 4-25 .160 with 3 runs scored and 7 strikeouts during the 1-5 streak. Couple that with the fact that (due to his illness)Votto is only 1-5 with 1 RBI and I think it is very easy to see why the Reds are averaging only 22 runs in the last 6 games.

I actually meant have scored only 22 runs in 6 games.
