May 24, 200917 yr ....he plays would be my guess? Turned off the game, is Bailey still struggling? He's out of the game, gave up 6 runs...control issues as always
May 24, 200917 yr And you know that ... how? Considering I've played baseball my entire life and continue to do so, I feel like I can make a comment like that. Getting a sac bunt down is the easiest aspect of baseball by far. Maybe with the exception of catching a pop up. Failure to get a sac bunt down is due to lack of concentration...simple as that
May 24, 200917 yr He's out of the game, gave up 6 runs...control issues as always Awesome. I knew as soon as he walked the first batter in the first inning..

May 24, 200917 yr Something tells me you're not qualified to make that judgment, especially since we're talking major league pitching. Please... Name something easier outside of catching a pop up or ball thrown at you...If you can't do those things you shouldn't be playing the game....and in my opinion if you can't get a sac bunt down you shouldn't be in the game. I don't care who's its against...especially when the pitcher grooves fastballs as Clevelands guy did to Bailey I'm guessing you didn't see how easy Cleveland's rookie pitcher made it look off of Bailey?
May 24, 200917 yr Making a Sac Bunt isn't that easy when you have a slider or 12-6 curveball coming at you... Trust me, I'd know... 1. Homer Bailey saw a fastball 2. An offspeed pitch is much easier to bunt...

I'll stand by my assessment ...
May 24, 200917 yr I'll stand by my assessment ... As usual, you avoid answering something asked of you...
May 24, 200917 yr As usual, you avoid answering something asked of you...You answered the question yourself. First you claimed getting down a bunt was "the easiest thing to do in baseball" ... now you're backtracking.
May 24, 200917 yr You answered the question yourself. First you claimed getting down a bunt was "the easiest thing to do in baseball" ... now you're backtracking. My two year old cousin can catch a ball thrown at him. Same concept with the pop up. You still didn't answer the question I asked in a previous post. Catching a ball is a skill kids learn in PE they don't learn to bunt. Anyway....by having this conversation you're implying its okay for a PROFESSIONAL athlete not getting a bunt down. It's part of their job. And its not difficult at all....
May 24, 200917 yr I get so sick of hearind George say get'em on, get'em over, get'em in. He says it even when it doesn't make sense. Although in this case, Hairston has to get Taveras to 2nd with no outs.
May 24, 200917 yr Willie should be on 2nd now. Either by steal or bunt. It was an obvious situation for a bunt.... For whatever reason Dusty didn't think so
