Considering I've played baseball my entire life and continue to do so, I feel like I can make a comment like that. Getting a sac bunt down is the easiest aspect of baseball by far. Maybe with the exception of catching a pop up. Failure to get a sac bunt down is due to lack of concentration...simple as that

My two year old cousin can catch a ball thrown at him. Same concept with the pop up. You still didn't answer the question I asked in a previous post. Catching a ball is a skill kids learn in PE they don't learn to bunt.

 

Anyway....by having this conversation you're implying its okay for a PROFESSIONAL athlete not getting a bunt down. It's part of their job. And its not difficult at all....

I get so sick of hearind George say get'em on, get'em over, get'em in. He says it even when it doesn't make sense.

 

Although in this case, Hairston has to get Taveras to 2nd with no outs.
