I was at the game, Gomes was pumped up after he hit that rocket down the third base line. He might not be the answer but i like his attitude and he should have been in the opening day roster over Mcdonald.

May 23, 200917 yr Author Not a good start for Bailey. You can't walk the leadoff batter every inning, and expect to get by with it.
May 23, 200917 yr At least he is throwing harder. Slider looks good. He can throw as hard as he wants, but if its right down the middle major league hitters will tee off. If he wants to be successful he needs to learn to pitch and not throw. That's been his problem since he first came up.
