Milwaukee has been better than expected, but they're not as good as they look right now unless they make a move to strengthen their starting pitching. They were a good team then, they are a good team now, they'll be a good team in september. 4-9 in their first 13 games isn't very good. Their pitches stoped walking so many and they have turned it around. And yes, I do agree, they will be right there in september.

May 18, 200917 yr Milwaukee is a good team but they need Gallardo to put up a Voloquez year to really contend. They beer makers will be good for a while though, they have a few top minor league prospects waiting in the wing.

Hoffman is toward the top of the career saves list...what makes you think he won't still be effective?He's 41 years old and wasn't all that great in San Diego last year, and the fly balls he will give up do more damage in Milwaukee than they do out west. Hoffman has given up three hits in 10 innings. He won't keep up this level of performance.
